Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association

The OMYGA has served the community since 1991. Our mission is to acquaint inner city and urban minority youth

to the sport of golf in order that they may reap the rewards of the game. These rewards enhance the whole person's

character. The following character qualities are developed through the quest for good golf skills:

For many years the OMYGA has succeeded in being a positive influence in the lives of Central Florida youth. They

have participated in numerous golf tournaments and proudly bringing home their awards. They have been accepted

and successfully play on high school golf teams. Some students have earned golf scholarships at universities of their

choice. Above all we are proud to say that they are becoming honorable members of our society.
