What a grand day it was for the OMYGA family on October 6,

2007 when they celebrated their First Annual Vivienne Lewis

Day at the Boggy Creek Training Site.

On hand for the festivities were the Head Pros from Lake Nona and Isleworth Country Clubs

along with the General Manager of the Lake Nona Country Club.

Prior to the ceremoy, Mrs. Lewis and guests got a close up view as the youth demonstrated their golfing skills.

What a sight to see as the Isleworth and Lake Nona Pros provided tips and instruction to our youth.

Mr. Craig, a world class soccer professionsal and photographer along with Ms.Nina Montero, photographer and

parent of three OMYGA students took photos from every angle.

What a treat as we enjoyed and saluted the Guest of Honor

A brief ceremony was held with Mr. Ken Harris as Master of Ceremonies and Dr. Dorsey giving the keynote, but brief talk.

Mrs. Vivienne Lewis, was presented with a cake displaying her photo, beautiful roses, a lovely gift and a Vivienne Lewis Day Proclamation read by Mrs. Virgie Dorsey and Mrs. Brenda Marsh.

The food was delicious, prepared under the direction of Mr. Jean Bienieme. The host of volunteer servers were outstanding.

Mrs. Lewis was most gracious as she mingled with the children and adults throughout the event.

If there was a blemish on the day, it was a brief shower that lasted five minutes. Surely God was in our midst. I envision the future "Vivienne Lewis Days" even more spectacular, but none topping this innaugural day.
